Richard's Cabanas Signature Porridge Recipe


Our guests love this delicious and nutritious porridge! Here’s how you can make it at home:

Ingredients:

- 1 cup oats

- A pinch of salt

- 1-2 tsp sugar (or to taste)

- 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder

- 1/4 tsp cardamom powder

- Water, as needed

- Fresh milk, as needed


Toppings (optional)

- Sliced fruits (banana, berries, etc.)

- Nuts (almonds, walnuts, etc.)

- Seeds (pumpkin, sunflower, chia, etc.)

- Edible flowers for a beautiful touch 🌸


Instructions

1. In a medium-sized pot, add oats, salt, sugar, cinnamon powder, and cardamom powder. Stir everything together over medium heat.

2. Add a bit of water and fresh milk to the pot and mix well.

3. Cook for about 2 minutes, stirring continuously, until the oats are soft and fully cooked.

4. Pour the porridge into a serving bowl, then top with your favorite fruits, nuts, seeds, and edible flowers for a nutritious and colorful finish.
