Why We build a pool in the middle of Nature

When people visit Tissamaharama, they usually come for safari.
They wake up early, spend hours exploring Yala National Park, and return tired but excited after a morning filled with wildlife sightings.
For years, we noticed the same thing.
After safari, guests wanted a place to simply relax.
Some wanted to read a book.

Some wanted to enjoy a cold drink.
Some just wanted to sit quietly and listen to the sounds of nature.
That is how the idea for our new pool was born.

Not as a luxury attraction.
Not as something flashy.
But as a place where people could slow down.
Today, our guests can spend the hottest hours of the day cooling off in the pool while surrounded by trees, birds, and village life.
The best part isn't actually swimming.
It's the feeling of having nowhere to rush.
Just clear water, fresh air, and the peaceful atmosphere that makes Tissamaharama special.
When the sun begins to set, the pool deck becomes one of our favorite places in the property.
A perfect place to end another day in paradise.
